Anna Shelest Piano Studio
In addition to her performing career, Anna Shelest has been teaching piano for over twelve years. Her studio includes students of all ages - from as early as three years old to adult.
Having received training at the world-renowned Russian Piano School – a centuries-old tradition of teaching music to all levels of students by the detailed system developed from the first lesson to the last year of a conservatory, which has produced such Great Pianists as Sergei Rachmaninoff, Vladimir Horowitz, Joseph Hoffman, Sviatoslav Richter, among others – Anna Shelest is fortunate to pass it on to the new generation of pianists in the United States.
On top of her training in Ukraine, Ms. Shelest holds a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance from The Juilliard School. This combination of the Russian tradition and the top Conservatory in America is what gives her a unique set of skills to bring up the young musicians as well as enthusiastic adults and develop a gift of music that will remain for a lifetime!
